Does anyone know how to st-up multiple TCP/IP settings under Me or 2000

I have DSL and to make a VPN connection for work I need to enter in DNS and WINS info, but its getting to be such a pain to reset this everytime I want to go back to normal settings

Windows 2000 keeps all connections seperate( and keeps TCP/IP seperated through the connections) so there shouldn't be any problem with that - just run inetwiz and choose to make a vpn connection, you'll then have 2 connections.

If you do want to add secondary IP information on the same NIC go to properties of TCP/IP and click the advanced tab. Add your data.

my VPN is over my same DSL line, already tried playing with netwiz

Maybe im missing something in the netwiz

when I go to the VPN mode I have to enter in the DNS and WINS info, and use the Cisco commander software for my 678 router to change the user name and password. reset the connection and then I'm conneted.

to go back I just delete the DNS and WINS info, change my user name and pword back and then Im good

I will always have to enter the info in the Cisco commander as I use a securID for my pword, but I was wondering if you can setup an alternate TCP/IP settings so I just click on a icon to change em.

and at my office I have 3 connections.

1 - T1
2 - DSL (VPN to company intranet)
3 - DSL regular internet w/ static IP

so my laptop is going to need 4 connection for when I bring it home

4 - DSL regular internet w/ DHCP
does that help?
