I will be building an Athlon 900Mhz PC soon, but for now I'm want to fit an 128Mb PC133 module in my present computer which runs at 66Mhz.
Is it possible to install a PC133 module on a 66Mhz bus, then put it in my new Athlon system when I've built it?
Are CUBE PC133 128Mb modules ok with Athlon Systems?

You should have no problem running a PC133 module on a 66 Mhz bus, assuming that your old system will address 128 Meg of memory in a DIMM slot.

Just installed the 128Mb module and it runs fine, but I can't seem to combine my old 64Mb with this one because the BIOS only reads 64Mb every time I insert both modules.
The 128Mb is PC133 & the 64Mb is PC66 so I'm not sure if these can be mixed.
Any help?

Hi, those ram pieces shouldn't be mixed. Im not even sure that that would work, pretty sure it wouldn't. When ever you put in two different pieces, it will only read the slowest one out of them. (PC133, PC100, etc.) As for the "best" ram, I would say to take a look at Mushkin Ram because they test ram pieces just for athlon systems. www.mushkin.com (http://www.mushkin.com)
Good Luck
