Can anyone reccomend a good scanner? I'm a first time buyer with £200 to spare. I've heard the 'Black Widow' series are quite good. Can anyone help me choose?
Thanks

I am using an Acer 310S SCSI Scanner that I got for $130 Aus (about 55 Pounds) and it works fine. Stan 07-03-1999, 01:51 PM Hi I am also looking to replace my scanner (Logitech PageScan Color Pro). I think that the Epson GT7000 (around 139 pounds, excl. VAT) is a good choice. I will probably buy it in the next 3-4 weeks. Hey TonyWatt, are you in the UK ? Stan DUSTYRUN 07-03-1999, 10:50 PM hey guys, check out the microtek x6el that comes with a scsi card. i've tried a few and this one does good for me. but it costs $229 U.S. it has a full 8.5" x 14" flat bed plus a plug-in adapter for negs. i almost forgot, the e3 plus by microtek for $129 is almost just as good as it's big brother. it hooks inline with printer and does not do negatives.
