Hey guys! I've got most of my parts in now for my computer, however I need to get me some cables. I have 4 IBM 30 gig 7200rpm ATA-100 Hard drives that I am going to connect to my abit KT7-Raid Mobo. I haven't got in my mobo yet and don't know what cables are going to be in the box with it, does any body know if it comes with enough cables for 4 ATA-100 Drives?.

Well heres my main questions

1. Where can I find ATA-100 cables? (I have only found ATA-66)

2. Where can I get a floppy cable

3. Where can I get a 250 Zip cable (is that just a regular floppy cable?)

4. I have a plexwriter CDRW and a 16x DVD, the plexwriter came with a cable that has one extra spot. Do I connect the DVD to it?

Thanks guys

P.S. Am I going to need any other cables? Power cables?

1. they are the same.

2. ANY computer related store. Have any friends into computers? Ask them. Most of us have a few sets of these laying around.

3. Don't know.

4. Sorry, don't know that either.

Your m/b should come with at least one ATA 66/100 cable.

My KT7 RAID came with 2 ATA66 cables, a DMA33 cable (for CD or ZIP) and a floppy cable.

You should be fine with those. You won't need to buy any more.
