When I log onto windows update to do my regular update check I get a page saying thank you for your interest in windows update.Your organization has decided to provide software updates internally rather than through windows updates. To download updates for your windows computer, please see your network administrator.I have used windows update for years without this problem.I have windows 98 SE full version. Please help.

M$ knowledgebase has an article on this. It involves looking for and deleteing 3 reg entries. Most people I've seen don't have the entries?

A guy named KevinR from another forum found it. We've been working on this for a couple of weeks. Glad it worked ok for you.
