Java missing

try to play games and it says java is missing-can anyone help-thanks

You don't have a Java Virtual Machine installed-- what your OS uses to run Java applets. You have two main options (assuming you're using Windows and IE), either go to Windows Update and install the latest Java Virtual Machine from Microsoft. MS can't ship it in with IE6 due to licensing issues. Your other choice is to go to Sun (www.sun.com) and download their Java Run-time Environment, which is essentially the same thing but from the people who own Java.
