when formatting a HD. which whould be the best way..
format c:
format c:\sys
and/or if there are other ways that are better?

There is actuallu no difference if You use it or not, cause when You install Your OS the installation copies the same files to Your hd anyway. Just dont use /s switch to d:, e: etc. unless You are using multibooting. Matter of opinion, actually. I never use the /s switch, I let the install-app do it's thing.
