unplug the keyboard .......but thats as far as what i had to do for my keyboard(win95 style) when that happened to me....just shut down windows...then unplug after you shut the machine off....
then let it go for about 10 sec....plug it back in and do a cold boot...

Didn't work for mine. By chance was there any water or slightly high levels of moisture on it? Is it one of those $10 keyboards? I tosed my cheapscate keyboard, got a nice Compaq OEM.

it was about 25$, and no water that i know
of... seams to be working again, diden;t even
unplug it. very odd

Ya, $25 ones seem to last. $10 ones are getting better, actualy, my cheapscate one was $10, and an $11 rebate! No joke!
