Norton 2002 & Win XP home

When running Norton Antivirus 2002 in Win XP, I get a blue screen and my system restarts when I do a system scan. Any Ideas??

In my opinion, Norton hasn't had enough time to get its Antivirus to be 100% compatible with XP. XP is just too new. Anyway, I think you can do without the Antivirus for some time, I'm using XP for about 3 months now, surfing a lot and all, and no problems. Viruses are still rare and if you have a minimal knowledge, you can even recognize a virus soon enough.
But don't blame me if you get one, please.... :(
