At approximately 1 for every 15 bootups, my UltraSpeed 56K (V90) PCI Modem drivers do not load. Dial-up connection box states "unable to establish connection." When I open the control panel under devices it reflects "-? Other Devices, + ! PCI Serial Controller." When I try to load the driver again via 3.5 floppy, Windows 98 (2nd ed) can't find it. When I reboot, it loads properly. System is PII333 OC'd 5x100.

Thanks

The problem is your system is overclocked, therefore your PCI bus is overclocked as well. If you're willing to put up with it, leave it. If it's really driving you nuts, get an external modem, or clock back your system.
