I fixed my BIOS problem and it is now up to date. I have a P4 1.8 with 256 DDR 2700 ram, 100 gb hd, geforce2 ti, ECS P4S5A mobo, with Win ME. When I updated my Bios it added some new features which are not listed on the web site and I'm not really sure what they do. They are the following:
Amibios
under the Advanced Setup:
(Timing set mode) set normal,fast,turbo,ultra
(MA 1T/2T Select)
(Advanced Read Prefetch)
(Spread Spectrum) just wondering if I should
(DRAM Latency)
under CPU PnP Setup:
(CPU/DROM) Set 100/100 what does changing it do?
(CPU Ratio) H/W Trap
