my computer crashed. Cdrom drive is'nt working so I can use my bootable disk. Can I load it on a floppy and use it as a startup disk? Both of the computer's I'm running is win95. I'm missing the startup.exe file for window's on mine. Any help would be apreciated.
I just got this one up and running {sort of} I'm missing the load.exe file from this one and getting jscript errors.

do you have a copy of back up files on your hard drive if so run that and it will restore everything

No Win95 startup floppy? Create one on your other machine and use it to boot the one that's down.
Is the cd-rom bad, or just no drivers? The startup disk has MSCDEX.EXE and will find the drive (if it's functional). There's also other tools that will load to a virtual drive, usually d:, which bumps your other drive(s) a letter.

I made a start up disk from the other computer. But, it's not instailling my setup.exe file's into it.
How do I find the missing files on the disk?
My other computer is missing certain file's also. How do I get into the disk and find the right files?
I can't get onto explorer from my sorta working computer. I installed internet explorer 5 into it and it didn't copy over explorer 4. Now neither one will load. It says it's to full?
Let me know.......
Thanks Kim
