i dont think there is a way of copying the product key from another disk, you`ll have to find the original product key, you will have to get another copy of win 98 if you still cant find it

I have Win98. I installed SiSoft Sandra Standard version 2001.5.8.11

The standard version is free. Once you got it on the other machine you can check in the Windows information section. It tells Windows ID as well as Windows Key which you need to install Win98. I checked on mine. It is the same as on the little Windows book that came with the system.

For Win98 go to: run, regedit:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Wind ows\Current Version
Product Key is located at the right
