Hello
I just finish building a pc, but when it came to pwer up for the post test I didn't get the one short beep. I received continous long and short beeps. More like a long warning foghorn alarm. I can't figure out the problem. There's no message on the monitor. Nothing at all. :confused:

Not sure but it sounds like a MB prob, something with the BIOS perhaps??? Are you able to access the BIOS?

What are the specs on the system?

And did you check to make sure everything is seated right? Like the CPU, memory and memory type, whatever cards are installed?

Also, some MB's won't boot if there's no fan installed on the CPU, but I'm not sure if that'll give you any beeps or not.
