How do you disable the Virusscan splash screen logo when booting up? Thanks. phx 11-06-2000, 01:00 AM it's in the prefrences somewhere, i remember disabling it on a few systems jim.t 11-06-2000, 08:59 AM this is their new 5.13 release and I looked for options/preferences/etc. but didn't see anything that I could turn off. Ususally there is a check box or something, but I missed it. jim.t 11-06-2000, 02:58 PM guess nobody knows. jim.t 11-08-2000, 04:42 AM skip the question...Mcafee techs say that hasn't been developed yet. Here we go again. Just shove the product out the door unfinished. They'll buy it, have no fear. Geeessshh!! daveleau 11-08-2000, 05:44 AM Best way to get the splash-screen to go away with McAfee is to...uninstall it. I am a McAfee hater as it has crashed my system countless times. I use AntiViral Toolkit Pro found at www.avp.com (http://www.avp.com) and is a superb AV and trojan scanner. Picks up the stuff that McAfee and NAV miss (ie picks up trojans). Dave SysOpt.com
