I'm taking the A+ tests in about 3 weeks, and wondering just how difficult it is. Took three different courses at local college, but seem to get more out of sysopt than anything.Any advice for future nerd?
Anything I should really concentrate on?
Alot of printing ques?
I/O adresses?
Modems?
Core fairly easy?
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I took and passed on October 14, just got my certificate yesterday. Check out the A+ forums at http://www.examnotes.net/ there is plenty of info and support there. I studyied for two months with the Exam Cram Personal Trainer Software (includes also Exam Cram book). And Sybex A+ E-Trainer, plus plenty of internet sites, search the A+ forum at examnotes. I got maybe two on printing, a few on I/O addresses and yes, one on modems.
Core was easier for me than Win/Dos, I must admit half-way through Win/Dos I was kinda
gettin worried... but I made it through.
Make sure you know DOS well, and take your time with the questions, read and reread, eliminate the obvious wrong answers and reread again. You get 30 minutes for each test I did both in about 20 minutes. So it is plenty of time.
Good Luck and let us know how it went!

Thanks for the info, Robert. Your link will be very useful. I thought the core would be fairly easy for me, its the DOS and windows **** that sometimes gets me. I've dedicated the rest of the month to gettin ready, so I hope I'll be in good shape.
Great advice on reading questions!
