Hello All,

I recently purchased Ontracks SystemSuite 3. I have problems with two of the utilities. Disk Fixer freezes if I have the Partition table checked and Jet Defrag won't complete the defrag because it says the volume has changed during the process. (I had everything shutdown except explorer) I have the latest patches installed.
System:
Abit kt7a RAID
TBird @ 1 GHZ
256 MB Muskin Rev 3 @ 133MHZ
2 IBM 45 MB Drives set as RAID 0

Can anyone help?

Unless there is a specific SystemSuite option available, I doubt most HD utilities are designed to work on a RAID configuration.

i also have ontrack and i have the same problem with the jet defrag utility. In fact, i get a very similar error. I booted into safe and used the windows defrag instead. I also have been gettin dirty data readings on the monitor program. Curious as to whether you are experiencing that as well. But i gotta tell ya, my disk scan works fine and it is so much faster than win98 scan disk and other than the defrag/dirty data issues, i love this utility. Let me know if you find a solution. Sorry i don't have one, just a work around.

i'm running win98 with 1ghz athlon classic processor....no raid...you don't think it could be an AMD specific prob do you? NAW, couldn't be...

I'm still clueless. No response from Ontrack either. This is not very promising.
