Keep getting lost fragments and fat errors

I have two hard drives and keep getting errors on both of them. Lost clusters etc bad fat tables etc after i use my pc for a few hours or move large files around. i have tried other hard drives from my maters and get the same problems so i know its not my hard drives. Any ideas what it could be thats making all these errors??

Overclocit? (pun intended http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif) Have you checked to make sure you have good connections with the IDE cables? Did you route them over power wires? Did you do any "cable rounding"?
