Hi,
Cant figure out what has gone wrong here, really simple set-up....
A group of 4 users need to share a HPG85 Multifunction printer, I bought a third party print server brand new installed the admin software for it on my machine which is a server.
I then connected the printer to the print server then a LAN lead to the print server, you can ping it fine and the admin software goes off and finds the printer no problem.
I can map to the printer but when i do a print job it just hangs there and if you double-click the printer you can see the job sitting there.
The only thing I can see is it says the print server is 'offline' in the admin GUI??? But there is no setting to change or start it??

oh..we have a windows 2000 professional network and servers.
