Click to See Complete Forum and Search --> : ega monitor d25woods 01-01-2002, 11:28 AM I have an old EGA monitar that originally plugged into an ATI EGA card,I think it is a isa card,maybe,but what I what to know is this is there a way to make the old monitor work with a more new card.The old monitor will not fit my s3 pro savage card and its old to me.I just hate to throw the thing away,the monitor. RLT65 01-01-2002, 11:36 AM There is no way to plug an EGA in a VGA port. VGA is a 15pin & EGA is 9 pin. EGA is useless anyways. It usually only shows 16 colors at 350x200 mode. Back in 1985 EGA was great but ever since around 1988 they have been obsolete.
