HiCaaf, here's some info from the Adaptec site.

Edit: *link*

Sorry, the link I posted is not linking properly... go to the link qball posted, and enter 7850 and tick 'search entire Adaptec site'. It will bring you to a page with OS, readme.txt, and product support information.

Tech: My CDRW is a scsi and the card came w/ my CDRW. I was just wondering for the sake of maybe getting new scsi devices however im not sure what kind of scsi it is.

Adeptec has my card listed as a fast/ultra pci card. So how many pins is that?

My cdrw came with an adaptec 2930 scsi card that shows up in device manager and system info as an Adaptec AIC-7850 PCI SCSI Controller. See adaptec page http://www.adaptec.com/products/datasheets/specs/retailaha2930.html for info
