Bios help please

Here is the problem:

I start up my computer and after it runs through the checks it go into my BISO setup screen with a "Message Conformation" box that reads:

The system intruded, chassis open or tempered before. Please check the system.

I can no get past this error, every time i exit my setup it gos right back to it.

What type of system is it. It sounds like there is a switchon the case and it is telling the system that the case has been opened

Its an AVA7266 ASUS mobo, 1.45GB Athlon, have 512MB of DDR RAM PC 2100, thats all I left in comp to make sure nothing else was causeing problem.

The board which is a A7A266 does have a case intrusion feature that needs to bee jumpered out on the board if it is not in use. The details are on asus's site. Just download the manual for that board as it has the details

try to reset the bios by taking the battery out and see if that works
