I got a very annoying problem, bought a new motherbord (ecs k7s5a ) and the trouble is the sound . I keep hearing little crackling noises every time i watch a movie but not when listening to mp3.It's a built in soundcard (AC97), i tried all drivers and different players but cant seem to get it right. Can someone please help me?

My specs:
MB: k7s5a
CPU: AMD Athlon XP 1400
Ram: 256mb
Video C: Nvidia m64 32mb

Just don't worry. I have such problem too (and have another system specs). And many guys over the world too (believe me, I've searched a lot to avoid these buzzes). And it seems to me that it is unfixable. ****! :(
