The system

Windows SE,
Celeron 566 96 Mb ram,
Microstar MS 6153VA ATX VIA APOLLO PRO 133 Mainboard,
has Norton AV 5,
MS Office 2000,
and Netscape 4.7 with IE 5 running on it,

the problem

at shut down the system hangs on the Windows is shutting down screen, how ever if before shutting down I log off user then re-log on to the same user, and then shut down with out running any thing it shuts down fine,

Any ideas would be greatly recieved, it's got me at the end of my rag at the moment.

Update,
forgot to mention, that system had a Creative OEM 128 vibra card installed, seems that all the software had been installed, including "Media Ring" so I unistalled media ring, system now behaves itself shuts down properly, and runs a lot faster, told owner not to put it back on system, if he did he have to live with the problem.
