I want to build a Dual P166MMX CPU system from two old PC's.

Can you tell me the manufacturer or name of a motherboard for such a system. I have searched many sites but can't seem to find one.

A refernce or manufacturer name would be helpful and even more helpful would be an oonline shop who has them.

Dual socket 7 mainboards are hard to find nowadays since they're so outdated. You may want to try doing a search in www.google.com or call around and ask...

Tyan makes a great Dual Pentium, the TomcatIII and TomcatIV. However, trying to find a store that sells them is the hard part.

Speaking of Tyan, they also make great dual athlon/duron boards.

And if you'd put say 2 x 1.2Ghz Tbird in there, that would be cheaper then dual PIII 1Ghz.

I favor Amd, for their continouos socket A support, but dual PIII's is very nice too, altho they can't run DDR ram, which the Athlons do.
