Hi folks. I've got an Abit KA7 that appears to have given up the ghost. (Several blown capacitors near the CPU slot -- search for my recent post to 'doowle' if you'd like the gory details.)

Anyway, I've now got a 128Mb RAM stick, a K7-550Mhz CPU, and a bunch of cards (video, modem, etc.) I'd like to be able to reuse. Any suggestions on a new motherboard that will allow me to get back up and running without buying a lot of additional components?

If you insist on keeping the Athlon 550, I say go for the MSI K7 Pro MS-6195 MSI makes the stablist boards. I have the Abit KA&-100 and soon I will be buying the MSI K7T266A Pro2 RU...
