JaYsin NDC 11-03-2000, 05:50 PM Oh yeah, you can make some great looking buttons using Photoshop. Here is a quick lesson on how: (1) Go to file and select New and then select Transparent, not white. (2) make a circle using Elliptical Marquee Tool (3) Fill that selection with any color you please. (4) Go to Layer/Effects/Emboss (5) Set the field parameters like this: Style = Emboss Angle = 120 Depth = 20 Blur = 15 Take a look at the way I've made my buttons at my site, it was done the same way I explained above, but I use the Chrome Effect on the buttons before applying the Bevel Effects. The site doesn't look all that great because I'm not a web designer, I'm still at my trial and error stages and I just do it for fun. The site was made by using only Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Go Live to be viewed at 1024 x 768. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif Hope this helps ya. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif [This message has been edited by NDC (edited 11-03-2000).] GroundZero3 11-03-2000, 07:11 PM Okay said the wrong thing. what i meant is its hard to explain what i want to do. the best thing is to go to my site and look at all the pics on the left side. Are you trying to make animated GIF buttons? cyclone2 11-03-2000, 09:09 PM http://www.adobe.com/products/tips/photoshop2.html If you are looking at a layered GIF like the top one on your site check out the school bus one in the link, its easy to do. Before I got 5.5 I did it with 5.0 and the GIF animator in Frontpage> http://www.geocities.com/cyclone2_t/home.htm I'm with you still learning http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif NDC 11-03-2000, 10:41 PM Or you can just use Image Ready that comes with Adobe Photoshop 5.5. make the layers of sequence using Photoshop 5.5 and make the GIF using the layers in Image Ready. Here is a sample that I made in Photoshop and Image Ready: <IMG SRC="http://www.geocities.com/ndcmj/NDCFireCLR.gif" border=0> SysOpt.com
