Hi, I hope someone will be able to answer a couple of questions I have. When connected to the scour exchange (like napster) my firewall stops most people from accessing my files. However certain users get through my firewall and can download my files. It tends to be people with a ADSL connection like myself. I was just wandering whether this was something to be concerned with or this is normal.
Another query is the speed of my connection. The people that access files from my system download them at approx 20kbps
but I can only download from them at aprrox 4kbps, is there anyway I can configure my computer to download faster than it uploads?
Any replies to either of these questions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Ian.

Well one thing to double check is that you have the permissions set to allow server for napster/scour. as for your download speeds the reason you might only get 4k on the download speed is due to other people hitting and downloading from the same person or they have a slow upload speed.
