My XP Pro won't auto run my CDs. Help please

Hello, after installing a full copy of XP Pro neither of my roms have auto run. Please don't tell me I have to use the native Disc Detector. But, if so, please explain. Thank you. Pack'nHeat

The settings for autoplay can be tweaked by my computer, right click on the cd-rom drive, then click properties. Go to Auto Play Tab and you have it.

Start | run | regedit
Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\
CDRom

Make sure the key reads AUTORUN sets to 1

Thanks for the registry key. I was trying to remember how to *disable* autoplay. The technique mentioned above doesn't seem to prevent normal autoplay.
