I bought the kids a computer each, the mobo is a k7vza fitted with 128mb memory, 700 duron cpu, 16mb creative rivatnt (agp) graphics ..... presents unrapped fitted old hard drives and turned pc on but all we can get out of them is 4 beeps then they turn off.. can anyone help ? :confused:

Welcome to SysOpt glad to have you aboard.

The K7VZA mobo has the Award Bios I dont think there is a 4 beeps code listed, My guess is the memory or video card needs to be reseated. Take them out and reseat them:

download pc cihps mb807 bios mine runs better then ever one draw back make shure you dont put any ram in slot 0 1 and 2 work fine this is the way to go plus you get agp 4x
