I found this coundcard on compgeeks. Specs look great AND the price is low (what am I complaining about?).
I just want to make sure that I am not missing something important that sound cards should have.
My primary use will be music recordings from tapes/ cd and records.
Thanks!

Looks like cowflop. Remember - you get what you pay for. $10 worth of soundcard is just that - $10 worth. Believe ir or not, I paid $900 for one of mine. Now, I'm a professional musician, and I use that computer to record. In my other machine, which is for internet activity, and gaming, I have a less expensive model , only $150. I would imagine you don't need a pro level soundcard, but do yourself a favor, and up the ante slightly...how about one of the new Sounblaster X-gamer audigy cards? I've seen those as low as $80 (http://www.us.buy.com/retail/product.asp?sku=10311118) I'm not going to launch into a diatribe about the pros and cons of upgrading your audio - suffice to say that the majority of us do most of our music listening and browsing on our computers these days - why not make the darn thing sound as good as your car stereo, at least???
