I have a AMD K6 III+ running at 576 Mhz. 256 megs. This machine had integrated video so i had to buy a PCI vid card. I was able to get a TNT2 64m dirt cheap $20. I thought this card sucked I was able to play CS barely. Upgraded to a (PCI) GeForce2 MX400 64megs of ram I found the upgrade to be useless. Very slight to no boost in vid performance. CPU is evidently the bottle neck.

I took the TNT2 64m put in a machine running a 1.1 celery. I was amazed at the difference in video performances in CS. Smooth as a cheerleaders thigh. I am running around capping Ts like Coke bottles.

I just posted this if anyone is getting poor performance with vid cards. Hopefully I will save some folks some money.
