At work we originally had 20 machines with 20 licenses for microsoft office. I think these might expire at the end of the year but I am not sure. Now we have an agreement with microsoft that allows us unlimited use of their software, but we got new cd's with new license codes with the new agreement. We now have over 20 machines an in order to make sure that I don't overuse the 20 licenses which were purchased elsewhere, I would like to change the license codes on all the machines to the new unlimited one.

Is there a way to simply enter the new code in each machine, or do I have to uninstall and reinstall the software?

It is my understanding that as long as you have purchased the licenses, it does not matter which license # you have installed them under. You could have them all installed under the same CD key.

I'm not sure on this, but I think that it is right.
