which one is the fastest font on windows?

I created a program on VB that does a report to a dot matrix printer & it looks like is drawing the letters instead of doing a fast printing like when you'd do it from DOS.

which font should it be?
I'm using regular " Printer.print " commands

I tried Tms & times....same thing it kind of prints half a line...then the other half...I know there's a way of printing fast...it's gotta be, specially if you are doing a long report.

Any help?

ouch, buy new printer????

Try the system font. btw, what font used when DOS printing? Try that.

Now, you may have an issue with the printer, depending on how old the olde grey dog be. Meaning, the printer may have personal settings, that may need to be tweaked/manipulated programmatically.

Old, really old (8 yrs) dm printers could accept limited "init strings" for settings, often they have configurable cartridges that would support more options, blah, blah, blah
