digital mouse

Is anyone familiar with a digital mouse, specifically the Daytek/Daewoo version? A friend has a conflict with a kids ball-mouse and I need to know if the digital mouse uses the standard microsoft mouse driver or has one of it's own.

I have tried Daewoo technical support but the languauge barrier prevents them from understanding the question so the answers I get are not what I need to know.

If I have posted this in the wrong forum please let me know which forum I should use. I tried the Technical Forum but I'm not getting anything other than to contact their technical support.
