EPOX 8KHA POST error

Folks,

I just put the following rig together

EPOS 8KHA
Duron 800
256 PC2100 DDR Crucial
20GB
Asus V6600 Deluxe
etc.

When I startup, I get a POST code of 26, which from the
docs is "Failed to overclock".

But I was not trying to overclock (yet!)

Any idea what 2 do? Is it the PC2100 Ram? The MB manual
recommends PC1600 for the 100MHz bus speed.

Don't know the answer to your specific problem but you can find alot of help on Epox motherboards at amdmb.com in the forums, there is a section of the forums devoted just to Epox mbs. Good luck - hope this helps.
