I'm seriously considering a video card update. I currently has a Geforce 2 GTS and it works great, but.. you know.. gotta get the best! Hehe
I've found there to be a wide variety of Geforce 3s ranging from $165 to over $300. Which of these is the best choice for the money? I'm not eager to spend over $300 on one compoent, but I don't want to get something that's gimped.
Any oppinions?

Dont know about those $165 cards never heardof a g3 at that price not even a ti200.
Basically all g3's are created equal and you should get the same performance from all brands. But get a knows brand for there warranty.

if you want the flat out fastest G3 card you want a GeForce3 Ti 500 based card have a look at buy.com for some cards along those lines.

quite a few of the G3's support TV-Out, you'll just have to shop around a bit to find one that does.
go NVidia (http://www.nvidia.com) for all the G3 info you may need. there are links from there to online retailers where you can hunt down the best price for your chosen board.

Actually, TV-Out (and DVI) are located on all reference GeForce3 cards, and so far I haven't see single GeForce3 without TV-Out ...
As for getting something really good - check Gainward GeForce3 Ti500 Golden Sample VIVO.
Best Regards ...
