What are the opinions of the Iwill DVD266 DDR Motherboard vs. the ECS D6VAA?

How about the new Iwill DVD266U-RN?

Both Iwill's run DDR2100 rather than plain P133 SDRAM, which the D6VAA uses.

I presently have the D6VAA w/dual 1 GHz P3's, which seems to be giving me good numbers, as well as running very stable. The only problems I'm having w/it is that I can't run my Promise FastTrak66 w/my RAID setup, as well as being able to run the AGP slot at 4x.

Here are the numbers I'm getting w/my D6VAA:

3DMark2001- 5247 (GeForce3 Ti200)

SySoft CPU Bench- Dhry 5,332
Whet 2,682

SySoft CPU Multi- Int SSE 10,957
FP SSE 13,395

SySoft Mem Bench- Int RAM 418
FP RAM 421

Well I finally got my AGP running at 4x on the D6VAA, thanks to the utility GeForce TweakUtility.

I rechecked my numbers and nothing changed, indicating that it must of been on all the time.

Both RivaTuner and SiSoft had indicated that the AGP was only running at 2x, even though it was set enabled in the m/b Bios.

Now what to do w/the FT66?

I'm still thinking about the Iwill DVD266u-RN, for the better memory performance and upgradability to the P3 Tualalin.

Again any opinions about the Iwill would be nice.

I have an Iwill KK-266, the Athlon KT-133A solution. It's the best board I've ever had. For stability, OC'ing and features, Iwill makes the better board, period.

Hey Now!

I've got the same board, and I'm planning on running the same processors, dual 1gig PIIIs. I have heard that you must run processors from the same batch. A.) is this true?? and B.) how do I make sure I comply with this if it is true?

Any help would be marvelous.

this board kick azz
not as fast as the as the athlon duallies
but at half the price and 80 percent of the performance it works great
