just so you know I am not pirating it!
I got a trial edition at one of those technet things, but I can't find the code to install it on any of the stuff it came with. It's the kind you get at one of the exchange 2000 session things hoping somebody can tell me:
a) where to find the code or
b) how to obtain a new one

Are you looking for Win 2ooo Pro or Server eval #s? Mine are printed on cds.
As for exchange 2ooo you can download that free http://www.microsoft.com/exchange/productinfo/eval.htm

If this is truly a ligit case, call Microsoft! They provide key codes for things like this. After the thread last night I sincerely hope this is ligit http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif All I can say is call up Microsoft, tell them the TRUTH, ask for a code, thats it.
a quote
"Microsoft assumes full responsibility for the distribution of product key codes on any and all of their products. Any other organization that offers key codes on Microsoft products is doing it illegaly, and should be reported to MPH (microsoft piracy hotline)..."

Also many of the Eval CD's have the code built-in. So when the window that you would normally put the code in will already have the code installed. Many of MSDN cd's do just that http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

I also have one of those free trial edtions. (a 120 day time limited version) I found the key code highlighted on the last page of the disc folder/pamphlet that came with it.
Hope this helps...
