LT Winmodem Data Fax v90 version 5.79

I've read that winmodems will work under a DOS window. I cannot get the above to accept AT commands under a DOS window. Is there additional programs required? Maybe a check box needs checking, an finger that needs crossed?

Any help on how to get an LT WinMOdem to function properly under windows Me greatly appreciated.

As I recall I read that the Lucent winmodem will not work under a dos window. You can find a lot of info on winmodems here:

Winmodem need Windows to run.
