How do i find out what my IP address is???

Where does it tell you what your IP address is?? I am running Win98 SE and I.E 5.01.
I want to use FTP to transfer files from my pc to my mates but i don't know what my IP address is.

Can anyone help?

Start/ Run, type:
Winipcfg.exe
look @ I.P. address

NOTE, you have to be connected to the Internet!

winipcfg will definatly report the IP address on a win9x machine. Details for other OSs are available on the following page with illustrations.

well, i've never used 'winipconfig' or whatever it's called, but i wrote a little script awhile back that just reports your IP as it would be displayed to others.
