I was wondering if anyone can help me on how to update the bios for my Abit BX6-2 motherboard. As I understand, that the motherboard is capable of running Pentium III.. so how do I come about updating the bios so that I can run Pentium III on that board? Thanks!!

It is explained on the Abit site when you download the new bios from their site. And if you mean that you only have one cpu (the PIII) and the mainboard and it wont post with the PIII in it, than put someones PII or celeron in it and than update the bios.

The Abit book also has detailed instructions. Be sure to use the /cc switch. It clears the CMOS of remnant artifacts that can be troublesome.
