MS Frontpage-dumb blond needs HELP

Hi there everyone. This is the first time I've ever used a forum like this..but here is my pitiful story. I have bought FP2000 program (second Hand) and specifically asked if it could be registered and was told 'yes'. Being the idiot that I am, I believed these people (I've done this TWICE!!). I again have installed the program which tells me each time I open it..'you have X number of times this program can be used before registering". I cant afford to spend any more on this so can anyone tell me if there is anyway I can overcome this??

go back to whom you purchased and demand the registration number. if they do not provide, get your money back.

you see, it is actually illegal to sell sw second-hand, but so is like speeding...

Well, here I am again....I dont think I made myself very clear in my first message. I DO have the registration code..Im not quite THAT dumb....but when I go to register it....I get the message that its already been registered.....It know Im stupid...but Im just so sad that people cant be honest and tell you that there is no way you can register a program before you purchase it..and YES I specifically asked that question... and NO I cant send it back...I purchased it on ebay....:o :o :o

I had a problem paying for goods upfront inc delivery then the courier charged me for delivery!

You could look around the net for a crack for this program. To do this isn't exactly legal but then neither is buying / selling s/hand software, it's a matter of perspective ( or is it law :-)

The crack would stop the timeout screen. I would certainly put bad comments on ebay about the seller, I think ebay has some sort of complaints procedure? Also let other people know not to buy stuff from this seller. If they are a regular on ebay put an advert on as if your selling something withe their name on warning people it'll cost you about £0.20

Its s shame though, they spoil it for lots of honest people. Time after that I paid by cheque so it would only be paind into their account and wrote on the back of the cheque what exactly the payment was for. Guess what, my goods arrived as promised including delivery. (it was a different seller though).
If you pay by credit card you are covered by most cards for the cost if something goes wrong. If you pay by cheque, make it out personally to the seller. That way you could either stop the cheque or request a copy of the used cheque back from the bank when it has been cashed. This would make sure you have the sellers name and account number and bank. IM sure your could get their home address from this info. Anyhow a bit extreem but it depends on how annoyed you are and what the cost was.

Just go to www.mauisun.org/astalavista.html. Then type in the program name and version number. This will list all of the password sites where you may visit and get the cracks, they open the program to it's full version. Caution...alot of xxx popups.
