Has anyone gone from PC100 to PC133 and noticed any difference? I am running PC100 in my A7V right now, 128megs, but i am wondering if i really need to go to PC133. Good Day!!!

I didn't really do a direct conversion. Other factors contributed to my speed increase.

Old system:
400 celery (66mhz sys bus)
192 PC100
4mb onboard vid

NEW system:
800 PIII (133mhz sys bus)
128 PC133
64mb onboard vid

So, you see, I can't really do a comparison http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

But, from what others have said who converted almost directly between RAM types, it isn't a huge speed increase. Plus you can sometimes o/c your memory to speeds approaching PC133.

Nope, Haven't noticed any significant difference on performance various systems that I ran PC-133 Vs. PC-100. But the small price difference between the two, I would say to go for the PC-133. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

most overclockers say that pc100 will only
oc to 112mhz, and pc133 will only go to 150
mhz.

Actually, My Samsung 128mb and 256mb PC-100 sticks will overclock to 124FSB with no problems whatso ever. As for the Toshiba 128mb PC-100, that hasn't been the case...
