hi all,
i came upon this term during some i-net research. I've also found a GIU that can be startet from RUN, but I failed to find any reference, KB, FAQ etc. that would explain what DCOM really is, how it is used and function.
for expl: the Programs installed on my PC are listed within this GUI similar to the "Add/Remove Software" Control panel feature, but not all prog. Ahead's Nero isn't listed... why?
RUN COMMAND:
c:\winnt\system32\dcomcnfg.exe
plz give me some links or explain it to me i f you can.
