Mouse Lock when trying to drag on Win95

Well this is a weird thing, when i try to drag an icon, like clicking on it, and then moving it to another place, the mouse pointer doesnt move when the mouse button is clicked and held, and also i cant make selection windows, In word i cant move graphics or resize them because that!!

Anybody know a workaround for that problem?

If this is an ordinary ps 2 mouse then I would start with getting into Safe Mode and Device Manager and blowing away the mice. Windows will redetect your mouse.

If you have a battery powered mouse I would change the batteries.

Try those first and let us know how you fair.
