****! Now I need to scrape up like $500 bucks! Anyone interested in an ABIT BH6 w/P3-450?

I wouldn't buy one just yet... They always say the latest AMD's perform faster/better than Intel, but I have never seen anything from AMD that held up to it's claim.

Lets see some serious real life comparisons like Quake and Photoshop and such!

Even at that, it is fast, cheap, and has 3D-Now, not quite as powerfull as SIMD, but it is supported by more than 3 programs, all made by Intel!

I am going for the K7 also, but will wait until the L2 cache speed is same as CPU speed. If AMD's early benchmarks are accurate, a full speed cache should really smoke anything Intel has. As far as I know, the first K7's will run at 1/3 or 1/2 speed for the L2. We have all seen what a difference full speed cache makes, as in K6-III and Celeron.

Cool, new K7... but what about mobo to support this CPU ???

From what I have read, it runs on a 200MHz FSB.

Arent AMD unlocked? If so, just do like 133x6 for the 800, or whatever.
