I want to upgrade my processor form my 750mhz duron to a 1.4 thunderbird or xp processor. My motherboard is a AK75-EC
What will i need other than the processor and a heatsink. I am not going to do any overclocking.

My specs are

640mb ram
32 md video card
60 gb harddrive
burner and cd-rom drive


I dont know if my specs matter but i thought i would just put them out their.

You'll probably need a BIOS update, but only if you want to use an XP processor (which I highly recommend getting). Right here (http://sj.dfi.com.tw/support1/download2.asp) you can find the latest BIOS for your particular MB. If you use a Tbird, you should be good to go. Hope this helps.
