compaq m700 armada laptop board error

hi what it is ive got this laptop running on xp i dont know what the spec is for this model ie ram i know it has ati card 6 gb hard drive is it ok to be running on xp or should i run on some thing else i just had to format as i kept getting cannot load windows 102 board error :confused: hhen ever you jog it or bang it it locks up and u have to shut down could this be caused by loose mobo if so do i try to tighten them havent opened it yet should i think about upgradeing the ram? if so what ram does it use any repleys aprecated

A Compaq M700 should be MORE than enough processor speed and RAM to run XP.

I have XP running on an IBM Pentium 166 with 80 MB RAM.

It does sound like you have loose wires or motherboard. If the system is still under warrenty, then take it to a shop for repairs or call/write Compaq and ask them what to do.
