Hello everyone,
I have a couple of questions on CD burning. How, for example, can I burn audio to a CD and then add more tracks? Also, if I want to add more data to a CD is there a special command I must give the software? Thanks for your help.

You could choose not to close the session and leave it open that way you can add more tracks.

Yes, but will the CD still be useable while the session is still open (ie. can I access the tracks/data)?

Josh:
Answer to your 2nd question. If you're using Adaptec,(now,Roxio),
CD Creator software, choose the "Data" and "Direct CD" options.
Each time you want to add data, the program does a little bit of
"re-formatting", for lack of a better word, to prepare the disc to
be written to, or written to again.
When you're done and go to eject the disc, you will be asked if
you want to leave the disc as is so you can write more data,or
close the session, so the disc can be read in CD-ROM units.
To write more data back on your CD-RW, the program will again
prepare the disc for writing once again, so you can drag and
drop files, etc.
I hope this helps, and is not too confusing.
I'm sure Nero burning software does the same thing ; haven't
used that software yet.

Answer to your first question: I believe that when an audio cd is finished it's impossible to add tracks. I'm not 100% sure but that's what I read about it. Hope this helps,
